Critical Paranoiac Method on the Loose - Hello Dali!

One of my early writing teachers spent some time with Señor Salvador Dali in the 1970s, teaching him how to control his splashy out-of-body protocols.  The guy could Soul Travel, but often did so without a map.

Coincidentally, during that same period I (along with millions of Dali admirers) was pouring over his work and haunting his strange little museum in St. Petersburg, Florida.

That's when I picked up on his technique called the Critical Paranoiac Method, which any madman disinterested in sleeping on the streets should learn.   It allowed Señor to observe how Life, the Universe and Everything was repeating his motifs, rutilating and hiding them by turns: in like a fisheye, out like a fireplace spark.

Musing on Señor's minor superpower, I turned the technique a little less Catalonian, a little more Mystian and lo! we had the Creative Care-anoiac† Method.   The latest results of which I present to you below.

As I wrote in my last blogpost:
"Zoës-willing, the Eleusian Epiphanies  --and particularly, the 33 Names of Goddess-- can resume in November after my next pilgrimage to Greece..."
...and here we are.  I have to laugh a little; the Creative Care-anoiac Method is alive and well!

"33" has been popping up again over the last several days.  This one was written on the box for the last printer I purchased here in Corfu.  Noticed the scrawled number out of the corner of my eye as I was on the phone to someone in the US.  GUFFAH!

This was underfoot today.   Yes, an "M" (13th letter of the Latin alphabet) as well as many many "33"s.  Should I take that personally? (Just smile and nod.)

Last night I discovered the curious fact that 13 inches = 33 millimeters - two of my favorite numbers convert into each other!  And Khenpo Sonam recently let me know that Sakyamuni Buddha went to the 33rd heaven to deliver teachings in honor of his Moms.   D'aawwwww...

So the evidence is piling up here:  looks like my return to the US will see another round of the "33 Names of Goddess" workshop.  InshAlilat'HU!

Care-anoia is the suspicion that the world is out to GIVE (not "get") you.  Creative Care-anoia occurs when the Cosmos decides you're so much of a bunny that It has to spell it out for you in wild waves of serendipity.
